Pastoral Support

At City Skills we recognise and are proud of the aspirations of our students. We also recognise that the transition from school to college can be daunting. We have high expectations and we want the best for our students and offer a range of additional support so that students at the College can thrive and be successful. One common theme that underpins the collective experience of students at City Skills is the support and care that they receive from a dedicated and caring team of staff.

Head of Pastoral Support

Our Head of Pastoral Support works alongside our teaching staff to ensure that we support students with barriers that could be affecting their programme.

“Every student at City Skills is a valued member of our community. We see the potential in every student and support their social and emotional development, ensuring they leave with the skills needed for their future lives and careers. Attendance, behaviour and respect are high on my list of priorities as these are paramount to students being successful.”
