At Worsley College, we have brand-new working salons equipped with industry-standard equipment, to prepare you for future employment within the industry. We work closely with industry experts and brands to ensure that we are using the latest techniques, equipment, and products. Our modern, real-life working salons will provide you with the opportunity to work on live clients. The salon is open to members of the public for great value haircuts, colours, and beauty treatments using exclusive salon ranges.
Our Courses:
 | Lee Collinge Curriculum Leader of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapies Lee has 20 years of experience teaching a variety of fields including Beauty and complementary therapies, Fitness, Nutrition, Wellbeing and Dance. She is curriculum Leader for the Hairdressing and Beauty therapy department and has worked at the college for the past 12 years. Lee is also an ambassador for Habia and is a passionate advocate for high standards in the industry. |
 | Tina Thornton Teacher of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Tina has over 25 year’s experience in the hair and beauty industry including owning a successful salon. She became a lecturer to pass on her skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to the next generation of hairdressers and beauticians. |
 | Kathy McQuade Teacher of Beauty Therapy After finishing college, Kathy trained in Beauty Therapy, Sports Therapy and Holistic Therapy at Worsley College. After qualifying she went on to manage her own beauty salon. Kathy has worked in Vancouver teaching beauty and holistic therapy and has been teaching at Worsley for 25 years. |
 | Rachel Burrows Teacher of Media Make-up Rachel has over thirty years’ experience in hairdressing and beauty. Starting in local salons, she progressed to international companies and promotional activities for TV and radio. With over 20 years teaching experience, she has been with the college for 11 years. She keeps up-to-date through regular training and is currently a Hair and Beauty Industry Authority ambassador.
