John Barry-inglis

Curriculum Leader of Hospitality and Culinary Arts

John has more than 30 years’ experience working as a professional in hotels, restaurants, inflight catering as well as running his own Catering Business.  He has been working in Hospitality & Culinary Arts education since 2007.  During this time, he has countless memories of students developing their skills & knowledge, before blossoming into professional chefs and restauranteurs.

 

Robert Broomfield

Teacher of Hospitality and Culinary Arts

Having spent over 15 years in the Hospitality & Catering sector, Robert has progressed from a chef at Chethams School of Music to a Catering Manager at Rolls Royce (being responsible for the hospitality for two Royal visits). Since then, Robert completed a PGCE in 2001 and has worked at the college ever since.

 

Wendy Western

Teacher of Hospitality and Culinary Arts

Wendy has worked in a range of 4 star deluxe hotels for 22 years. Following the birth of her son, she moved into education, firstly as a catering manager at a school, then as a technician. She then went on to become a teacher. Wendy has now been teaching at Worsley College for five years.
